FAQs

HOW CAN COUNSELLING HELP?

Counselling provides an opportunity to talk through and explore problems with a person who is trained to listen attentively and guide you through the process. It can lead to a greater understanding of the impact your experiences have on one’s life, work, and relationships. Counselling can also help us manage anger and anxiety, and develop improved communication skills. For further information Contact Us today.

WHO WILL BE MY COUNSELLOR?

All About People Ltd have a team of experienced and accredited counsellors specialising in many different problem areas. When you first contact us, we take time to understand your needs and, in conjunction with the clinical director Miriam Bannon, we allocate the counsellor who can best meet those needs.

HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED?

Some people need short term help (one to six sessions) while others see counsellors over a longer period of time. During your first session, your counsellor will discuss this with you and help you consider what is the best option for you.

Appointments are available Monday to Friday from 9am to 7pm. Earlier appointments and weekend sessions can be organised subject to counsellor availability. As we understand how difficult it may be to decide to have counselling, all appointments, dates and times are confirmed within 24 hours of your initial contact, and all ‘first appointments’ take place within one week of contacting the practice. Fees will be discussed and confirmed with you before your first appointment. Corporate rates are agreed with individual organisations, and invoicing procedures do not compromise client confidentiality.

24 hours notice will incur a full fee cancellation charge, as will missed appointments.
