Counsellor Supervision

All About People provide supervision from our practice in Leamington Spa, or if more convenient, from your own premises or over the telephone.

Our fully qualified supervisors demonstrate a broad range of experience in a variety of approaches, and can accommodate specific supervision and contextual requirements, for example if you are working with young families, addictions or with psychosexual issues.

Counsellor Supervision Training

We are also proud to offer a range of professional half and full-day Continuing Professional Development courses, all of which are specifically designed to develop and support your counselling and/or psychotherapy skills.

CPCAB Counselling Supervision Course – Level 6

Ideal if your ambition is to train as a supervisor, All About People provide a fully accredited twelve-month CPCAB counselling supervision course, in association with Maple Leaf Counselling.

The next course begins on Saturday 11th January 2020 at Maple Leaf Counselling and Training Centre Solihull, conveniently located just off the M40 motorway, and runs over a twelve month period.

To apply, you must be qualified to Level 4 Diploma for a minimum of twelve months, and able to demonstrate 450+ supervised counselling hours. The course has been designed for a maximum of 12 delegates.

A note about BACP supervision guidelines

All About People adhere to BACP’s supervision guidelines, which state:

For qualified counsellors, the minimum recommendation for supervision is 1.5 hours per month, which may be increased as necessary.
Supervision guidelines for trainee counsellors are 1.5 hours per month minimum. The recommended ratio is 8 hours counselling to 1 hour supervision per month, with the trainee to see the supervisor fortnightly.
For group supervision, if there are four people or fewer in the group, each counsellor can claim up to 50% of the time together. For five people or more, time needs to be divided by the number of counsellors in the group.
